Bad Girl Quilting employs a Husqvarna Viking 18 X 8 Mega Quilter with an Imperial frame. While there is a stitch regulator to ensure even stitches, it is not a computerized system. All work is done freehand. If you have a quilt top you’d like to have professionally quilted, Bad Girl Quilting can do that.
If you’d like to complete the quilt yourself, Bad Girl Quilting can teach you to use the longarm and rent it by the hour. Instruction includes attaching the quilt pieces to the frame and how to use the machine. The rate for instruction is $50 per hour, minimum 1 hour. We’ll supply material, thread and batting for the instruction.
The rental rate after you are confident using the machine yourself is $20 per hour. Longarm rental does NOT include thread or batting. Your backing should be assembled before you arrive unless other arrangements are made.
